The Western Alaska Landscape Conservation Cooperative (LCC) is pleased to announce a Request for Proposals (RFP). The RFP will be used to fund a single project in 2013 focused on the development and completion of a geospatial database for stream and lake temperature monitoring project metadata and attributes (we are not asking for actual temperature data at this time). The geospatial database will be state-wide in scope.
When this project is completed, Alaska will have a new tool for identifying where we need to be collecting data, for identifying potential partnerships, and for designing regional water temperature networks. If you are interested in learning more about this RFP please visit our website at: http://www.arcus.org/western-alaska-lcc/project-proposals-2013 or go to Funding Opportunity F13AS00056 at http://Grants.gov/ .
This RFP closes at 8:00 AM on Monday March 11th, 2013
