The Mat-Su Salmon Science and Conservation Symposium is hosting a storytelling event on the evening of Wednesday, Nov. 8, at the Palmer Train Depot. We are seeking anyone with a story to tell that involves wild salmon in the Mat-Su or Cook Inlet- a scary fishing story, your grandmother’s earth-shatteringly delicious salmon recipe, the first fish your child caught…..anything goes!
We’ll have seven storytellers telling seven-minute stories each in front of a very supportive audience. We can work with the storytellers beforehand to help “coach” them – listening to their stories and helping craft them into something they feel confident getting onstage to share!
Please email Emily Tallman at firstname.lastname@example.org if you’d like to join in the fun or have any questions.
